    The Standard Edition of supports two billing methods for compute nodes: pay-as-you-go and subscription. The price of a compute node varies based on its billing method and specifications. This topic describes the billing rules for compute nodes in pay-as-you-go and subscription clusters.

    PolarDB for PostgreSQL Standard Edition supports two billing methods for compute nodes: pay-as-you-go and subscription. Prices vary by billing method, specification type, architecture, and region.
    Note

    This page covers compute node pricing only. Storage, I/O, backup, and data transfer are billed separately. For a full cost breakdown, see the related billing topics at the end of this page.

    Pay-as-you-go

    Pay-as-you-go clusters have no upfront fees. Compute node charges accrue hourly and are deducted from your account balance each hour.
