Starting from 00:00:00 on September 1, 2025 (Singapore Time), PolarDB storage plans will no longer available for new purchase. This change makes the billing method more transparent and straightforward to help you manage resources more easily.

If you have not purchased a storage plan before the effective date, you can no longer submit new orders.
If you have purchased a storage plan before the effective date, your use of the purchased resources will not be affected. You can continue to use your current plan and purchase additional storage plans.
Note: Instead of purchasing storage plans for PolarDB, you can change the storage billing method for your cluster to subscription. With the subscription method, you are charged a fixed monthly storage fee if your storage usage remains within the capacity of the instance type. Compared with the pay-as-you-go method, the subscription method makes budget planning easier.
