Alert rules trigger notifications when a monitored metric crosses a threshold. On the Alert Rules page, you can view, modify, enable, disable, and delete existing alert rules for your PolarDB for MySQL clusters and nodes.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
Access to the PolarDB console
Manage existing alert rules
Log on to the PolarDB console.
In the upper-left corner of the console, select the region where your cluster is deployed.
Find the cluster and click the cluster ID.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Performance Monitoring.
Click Alert Rule. The Alert Rules page appears.
On the Alert Rules page, find the alert rule you want to manage and click the corresponding action in the Actions column.
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| More | View alert rule details, including metric thresholds and configuration. |
| Alert History | View past alert events triggered by this rule. |
| Modify | Edit the alert rule configuration, such as the threshold value or alert conditions. |
| Disable | Temporarily stop the rule from triggering notifications. Use this during planned maintenance to avoid alert noise. The rule remains intact and can be re-enabled later. |
| Enable | Resume a previously disabled alert rule. |
