PolarDB for MySQL integrates with Database Autonomy Service (DAS) to provide automated database diagnostics. On the Diagnostic Reports tab, you can generate and review reports that cover your cluster's health status, active sessions, deadlocks, and performance trends.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
A PolarDB for MySQL cluster
Access to the PolarDB console
Access the Diagnostic Reports tab
Log on to the PolarDB console.
In the upper-left corner, select the region where your cluster is deployed.
On the Clusters page, find the cluster for which you want to enable the autonomy service, and click the cluster ID.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Diagnostics and Optimization > Diagnosis.
Click the Diagnostic Reports tab.

Generate a diagnostic report
Two methods are available. Choose based on your use case:

| Automatic | You need reports on a recurring schedule | Click Auto-generating Diagnostic Report Settings, select Scheduled Trigger, choose the days and time, then click OK |
| Manual | You need an on-demand report outside the scheduled window | Click Create Reports |
Set up automatic generation
Click Auto-generating Diagnostic Report Settings.
In the dialog box, select Scheduled Trigger.
Select the days on which reports should run — select All for every day, or choose specific days.
Set the time at which reports are generated.
Click OK.

Generate a report immediately
Click Create Reports.

View a diagnostic report
In the report list, find the completed report and click View Report in the Actions column.

Review the diagnostic results. Each report includes the following:
Health status
Sessions
Deadlocks
Performance trends
