PolarDB for MySQL Cluster Edition and Multi-master Cluster (Limitless) offer two compute node types: General-purpose and Dedicated. The core difference is resource isolation: Dedicated nodes reserve all allocated CPU for your cluster, while General-purpose nodes share idle CPU across clusters on the same host to reduce costs.

Cluster Edition
Clusters in a global database network (GDN) do not support the 2-core 4 GB or 2-core 8 GB specifications.
