Storage fee details:
PDS uses data deduplication, storing only a single copy of each unique file. Your storage fee is based on the physical space consumed after deduplication.
For example, if User A and User B both store 10 GB of files in PDS, and 5 GB of these files are duplicates, the total occupied storage space is calculated as follows: 10 GB + 10 GB - 5 GB = 15 GB.
Storage fees are billed on an hourly basis.
For example, the hourly fee for 100 GB of locally redundant storage in the region outside the Chinese mainland is calculated from the monthly rate:
(100 GB * USD 0.026 per GB/month) / 720 hours ≈ USD 0.0036 per hour
You are also charged data storage fees for specific value-added services that you enable, such as transcoding and package download. For more information, see Billable items for value-added services.
User service fee details for the Chinese mainland:
User fees are billed hourly based on a tiered pricing model, where the per-user cost decreases as your total number of users grows. Examples:
If you have 50 users, the hourly user service fee is calculated as follows: 0.7448 / 30 / 24 × 50 = USD 0.0517.
If you have 150 users, the hourly user service fee is calculated as follows: 0.7448 / 30 / 24 × 100 + 0.2979 / 30 / 24 × (150 - 100) = USD 0.124.
If you have 15,000 users, the hourly user service fee is calculated as follows: 0.7448 / 30 / 24 × 100 + 0.2979 / 30 / 24 × (10,000 - 100) + 0.0149 / 30 / 24 × (15,000 - 10,000) = USD 4.303.
