Procedure
Log on to the Elastic Compute Service (ECS) console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Applications. On the Applications Management page, click the name of an application to go to the details page of the application.
Click the Monitoring and Alerting tab. On the tab that appears, click Manage Alert Rules.
Click Create Alert Rule on the Threshold Value Alert tab. In the Add or Edit Rules panel, set the parameters in the Product Type, Rule, Alert mechanism, and Contact Group sections and click Add.
Find the created alert rule in the alert rule list and click View in the Actions column to view the basic information about the alert rule. Click Alert Logs to view the alert history of the alert rule. On the Monitoring and Alerting tab, you can view the monitoring charts related to the alert rule.
