Cross-region OpenSearch and Data Transmission Service (DTS) instances are not supported.
When you configure DTS instances, add the required tables one by one. If multiple databases share one DTS instance, the performance of the DTS instance is degraded. We recommend that you configure one DTS instance for one database.
Procedure
Log on to the OpenSearch Industry Algorithm Edition console. On the Instance Management page, find the application that you want to configure, and click Configure in the Actions column.
Configure an ApsaraDB RDS data source. For more information, see Configure an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL data source.
ImportantIf the field names in the application are consistent with those in the data source, fields are automatically mapped with each other. Otherwise, you need to manually add fields.
After you configure the application schema and index schema, select Change Tracking Task of DTS from the Data Synchronization Mode drop-down list.
Click Select in the Change Tracking Task of DTS column. In the dialog box that appears, enter the ID of your change tracking instance. For more information about how to create a DTS instance, see Track data changes from an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance.
Click Verify. The instance state changes to Verifying. Wait until the instance state changes to Available. Then, click Confirm to go to the next step.
If the instance is in the Unavailable state, click DTS Console to check whether the DTS instance is normal. You can also click Exception Report to view the specific error reports and solutions.
Click Finish.
