This topic describes how to start or stop Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances or ApsaraDB RDS instances at a scheduled time. For example, you can stop ECS instances during off-peak hours every day to reduce costs.
If your instances are deployed in multiple regions and you want to configure a scheduled startup and shutdown task for these instances, you can click Create in the Scheduled Startup and Shutdown section on the Quick Setup page to complete unified configurations for multiple regions at a time. For more information, see Quick Setup>Scheduled Startup and Shutdown.
