Share extensions

Owner: Share an extension

1. Go to the details page of the extension you want to share.

   1. Log in to the CloudOps Orchestration Service console.

   2. In the navigation pane, choose Server Management > Extensions.

   3. On the Extensions page, click the Custom Extensions tab, and then click the name of an extension to open its details page.

2. Add a recipient account.

   1. On the extension details page, in the Share status section, click Add share.

   2. Configure the following parameters:

      • Shared Alibaba Cloud account ID: The recipient must be an Alibaba Cloud account, not a RAM user.

      • Shared version: Select the version of the extension to share.

   3. Click OK.

3. To stop sharing the extension, locate the recipient account in the Share Status section and click Cancel Sharing in the Actions column.

Recipient: Use a shared extension

1. Log in to the CloudOps Orchestration Service console.

2. In the navigation pane, choose Server Management > Extensions.

3. On the Extensions page, click the Share extension tab.

Quotas and limits

• Shared extensions can be received only by Alibaba Cloud accounts, not by RAM users.

• You can share a single custom extension with a maximum of 20 Alibaba Cloud accounts.

• Extensions can be shared only between accounts in the same region.
