On the overview page of each bucket, you can view the usage statistics for the bucket, including the storage usage, traffic usage, domain names, and the custom list of frequently used features.
Basic Statistics
In the Basic Statistics section, you can view the statistical values for Storage Usage, Traffic This Month, Requests This Month, Files, and Parts of the current bucket.

Descriptions of each metric:
- Storage Usage: shows the storage usage of the current bucket. You can collect statistics for the
total storage usage that excludes ECS snapshots.
- Total (Excluding ECS Snapshots): shows the storage usage of all storage classes of objects in the bucket, excluding ECS snapshots.
- Standard (Locally Redundant Storage) or Standard (Zone-Redundant Storage): shows the storage usage of Standard objects. If the bucket uses locally redundant storage (LRS), you can view the statistical value for Standard LRS. If the bucket uses zone-redundant storage (ZRS), you can view the statistical value for Standard ZRS. For more information, see Overview.
- IA (Locally Redundant Storage) or IA (Zone-Redundant Storage): shows the storage usage of IA objects. If the bucket uses LRS, you can view the
statistical value for IA LRS. If the bucket uses ZRS, you can view the statistical
value for IA ZRS.
- Actual Storage Usage: shows the actual storage usage of IA objects.
- Billed Storage Usage: shows the billed storage usage of IA objects. The minimum billable size for IA objects is 64 KB. Objects smaller than 64 KB are charged as 64 KB. Therefore, if a bucket contains a large number of small objects, billed storage usage may be greater than actual storage usage. For more information, see Overview.
- Archive: shows the storage usage of Archive objects.
- Actual Storage Usage: shows the actual storage usage of Archive objects.
- Billed Storage: shows the billed storage usage of Archive objects. The minimum billable size for Archive objects is 64 KB. Objects smaller than 64 KB are charged as 64 KB. Therefore, if a bucket contains a large number of small objects, billed storage usage may be greater than actual storage usage. For more information, see Overview.
- Cold Archive: shows the storage usage of Cold Archive objects.
- Actual Storage: shows the actual storage usage of Cold Archive objects.
- Billed Storage Usage: shows the billed storage usage of Cold Archive objects. The minimum billable size for Cold Archive objects is 64 KB. Objects smaller than 64 KB are charged as 64 KB. Therefore, if a bucket contains a large number of small objects, billed storage usage may be greater than actual storage usage. For more information, see Overview.
- Traffic This Month: shows the total traffic usage of the bucket in the current month.
- Outbound Traffic Over Public Network: shows the traffic generated when you browse or download OSS data over the Internet.
- Inbound Traffic Over Public Network: shows the traffic generated when you upload data to OSS over the Internet.
- CDN Back-to-Origin Traffic: shows the back-to-origin traffic generated when you browse or download OSS data over Content Delivery Network (CDN).
- Requests This Month: shows the total number of API requests called in the current month by the bucket.
- Read Request: shows all GET requests this month. For more information, see read requests in View resource usage.
- Write Request: shows all PUT requests this month. For more information, see write requests in View resource usage.
- Files: shows the number of objects contained in the current bucket.
- Parts: shows the number of parts contained in the current bucket. Parts are generated by multipart upload and resumable upload. To reduce storage costs, use lifecycle rules to delete unnecessary parts. For more information, see Configure lifecycle rules.
Domain Names
- Endpoint: the endpoints used for OSS to provide services. These endpoints are used for configuration items of SDKs and commonly used tools. For more information about endpoints, see Regions and endpoints.
- Bucket Domain Name: the domain names used to directly access buckets. The domain name that is used to
access a bucket is in the
BucketName.Endpoint
format. BucketName indicates the name of the bucket, and Endpoint indicates the endpoint of the region in which the bucket is located. For more information about bucket domain names, see OSS domain names.

The following table describes the categories of endpoints and bucket domain names.
Category | Endpoint | Bucket domain name |
---|---|---|
Access over the Internet | The endpoint that is used to access a bucket over the Internet. | Access a bucket over the Internet. |
Access from ECS over the classic network (internal network) | The endpoint that uses the classic network for access. The endpoint can be used to access a bucket from an ECS instance within the same region, which does not incur traffic fees. | Access a bucket over the classic network. The endpoint can be used to access a bucket from an ECS instance within the same region, which does not incur traffic fees. |
Access from ECS over the VPC (internal network) | The endpoint that uses the VPC for access. The endpoint can be used to access a bucket from an ECS instance within the same region, which does not incur traffic fees. | Access a bucket over the VPC. The endpoint can be used to access a bucket from an ECS instance within the same region, which does not incur traffic fees. |
Transfer acceleration-based access | The accelerate endpoint. Before you use this endpoint, you must enable the transfer acceleration feature. For more information, see Transfer acceleration. | Use an accelerate endpoint to access a bucket. Before you can use this domain name, you must enable transfer acceleration. |

Frequently Used Features
OSS provides a wide range of features for buckets and objects. You may frequently use some features. For example, you may want to enable versioning and configure CRR or lifecycle rules. Sometimes you may need to find required features from a wide range of features in the OSS console, which is inefficient.
To resolve this issue, the OSS console provides the Frequently Used Features drop-down list in the upper-right corner. The drop-down list includes all features
supported by OSS. You can click the name of the required feature to go to the configuration
page of the feature. You can also click the icon next to the name of the feature to add the feature to your favorites. You can
add up to six features to your favorites.
