Pay-as-you-go
Instance type fee
Existing Internet NAT Gateway instances are billed by instance type (Small, Medium, or Large) on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Unit prices vary by instance type and region.

The instance specification determines maximum connections and connections per second (CPS). Both SNAT and DNAT connections count toward these limits.
For higher bandwidth, convert pay-as-you-go (billed by fixed specification) to pay-as-you-go (billed by usage).
In production, factors such as average packet size, connection type (long-lived or short-lived), and network architecture affect actual performance. Run a stress test before go-live and configure monitoring to ensure stability.
Specification | Connections per second (CPS) | Concurrent connections | Throughput | Packets per second (PPS) |
Small | 1,000 | 10,000 | 5 Gbps | 600,000 |
Medium | 5,000 | 50,000 | ||
Large | 10,000 | 200,000 |
Convert pay-by-specification to pay-by-CU
Converting the billing method does not affect the normal use of your NAT gateway. After the conversion, existing SNAT rules, DNAT rules, EIP bindings, and route configurations remain unchanged. Only the billing mode changes.
- Log on to the NAT Gateway console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region where the Internet NAT gateway is deployed.
On the Internet NAT Gateway page, find the target NAT gateway, and in the Actions column, choose .
ImportantThis action cannot be undone. Proceed with caution.
NAT Gateway instances that are locked for overdue payment cannot be converted.
On the Covert to Pay-As-You-Go page, set Metering Method to Pay-By-CU, then in the Terms of Service section, read and select NAT Gateway (Pay-As-You-Go) Terms of Service, and click Buy Now.
