Apsara File Storage NAS:Overdue payments

This topic describes the impacts of overdue payments on Apsara File Storage NAS (NAS) file systems and how to prevent overdue payments. If your account is about to have overdue payments or has overdue payments, you can read this topic to better manage resources and control costs.

View overdue payments

  1. Log on to the Billing Management console.

  2. On the Account Overview page, view the overdue payments.查看欠费

Causes of overdue payments

An overdue payment occurs due to one of the following reasons:

Impacts of overdue payments

An overdue payment results in the following service status changes:

General-purpose NAS file systems

  • To ensure service continuity, you must settle overdue payments within 15 days.

  • If you do not settle overdue payments within 15 days, NAS becomes unavailable. The data stored in your NAS file systems is retained. You are still charged for the storage space. Therefore, the overdue amount continues to increase. If you settle overdue payments within 22 days, NAS becomes available again.

  • If you do not settle overdue payments within 22 days, Alibaba Cloud assumes that you no longer require NAS. Your data stored in General-purpose NAS file systems is deleted. You cannot restore deleted data. Before your data is deleted, you are still charged for the storage space. If you no longer require NAS, we recommend that you delete your General-purpose NAS file systems.

Extreme NAS file systems

  • To ensure service continuity, you must settle overdue payments within 15 days.

  • If you do not settle overdue payments within 15 days, Alibaba Cloud assumes that you no longer require NAS. Your data stored in Extreme NAS file systems is deleted. You cannot restore deleted data. If you no longer require NAS, we recommend that you delete your Extreme NAS file systems. Otherwise, you are still charged for the storage space of your NAS file systems.
