If a large number of pay-as-you-go Microservices Engine (MSE) instance nodes are required for your business and you want to use the instance nodes for more than one month, we recommend that you change the billing method of the MSE instance to subscription. This way, you can obtain savings over subscription. This topic describes how to change the billing method from pay-as-you-go to subscription.
Usage notes
You can change the billing method of an MSE instance only from pay-as-you-go to subscription. You cannot change the billing method from subscription to pay-as-you-go.
Procedure
Log on to the MSE console and select a region in the top navigation bar.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Instances page, find the instance whose billing method you want to change, and click More in the Actions column. In the list that appears, select Change to Subscription.
On the Microservices Registry (Subscription) | Switch to Subscription page, select a subscription duration.
Read the terms of service, select the check box to confirm that you have read the terms of service, and then click Buy Now.
On the Purchase page, confirm your order, and click Purchase.
If Subscription is displayed in the Billing Method column of the MSE instance on the Instances page, the billing method of the MSE instance is changed to subscription.
