    ApsaraDB for MongoDB:Enable or disable release protection

    You can enable release protection to prevent the accidental release of an instance that runs critical workloads. To release the instance, you must first disable its release protection.

    Prerequisites

    The instance uses the pay-as-you-go billing method.

    Procedure

    1. Go to the ApsaraDB for MongoDB replica set instances page or the sharded cluster instances page. Select the resource group and region at the top of the page, and then click the ID of the target instance.

    2. In the Basic Information section, click Settings to the right of Release Protection.

    3. In the Set Release Protection panel, turn the Release Protection switch on or off.

    4. Click Confirm.

      Note

      You cannot release an instance when release protection is enabled. To release the instance, you must first disable its release protection.
