ApsaraDB for MongoDB:Disable the audit log

Last Updated:Mar 30, 2026

Disable the audit log feature when you no longer need it to stop incurring audit log charges.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure that you have:

Disable audit logs

  1. Go to the Replica Set Instances or Sharded Cluster Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the instance resides. Find the instance and click its ID.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Security > Audit Logs.

  3. In the upper-right corner, click Service Settings.

  4. In the Instance Settings section of the Service Settings panel, turn off Audit Logs.

    Note

After you disable the audit log feature, new audit logs are no longer uploaded. Existing audit logs are retained until they expire, then deleted automatically.

  5. Click OK.
