ApsaraDB for MongoDB:Disable one or more alert rules

Disable alert rules to stop Cloud Monitor from sending alert notifications during planned operations on your MongoDB instance.

Common situations where disabling alert rules is useful:

  • Maintenance windows (stopping an instance)

  • Planned upgrades

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that:

  • The Status column of the alert rule shows Normal

Disable a single alert rule

  1. Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Rules.

  3. Find the alert rule that you want to disable, click the more icon in the Actions column, and then click Disable.

  4. In the Disable Alert Rule message, click Confirm.

Disable multiple alert rules at a time

  1. Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Rules.

  3. Select the check boxes of the alert rules that you want to disable, then click Disable in the lower-left corner of the page.

  4. In the Disable Alert Rule message, click Confirm.
