The Performance Trends tab shows default performance metrics for your ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance. When you need to track specific metrics together or compare performance across nodes, use the Custom Charts tab to create monitoring dashboards that group any combination of nodes and metrics into a single view.
Supported instances
Custom Charts is available for standalone, replica set, and sharded cluster instances that use the MongoDB protocol.
Manage custom monitoring dashboards
On the Custom Charts tab, you can create, view, and delete monitoring dashboards.

Create a monitoring dashboard
Open the instance details page: In the top navigation bar, select the region where your instance resides, then click the instance ID.
For replica set instances, go to Replica Set Instances.
For sharded cluster instances, go to Sharded Cluster Instances.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Performance.
Click the Custom Charts tab.
From the Operate Dashboard drop-down list, select Create Monitoring Dashboard.
In the Create Monitoring Dashboard dialog box, enter a dashboard name and click OK.
Click Add Node and Metrics or Add Monitoring Chart.
In the Select Metrics of Monitoring Chart panel, select the nodes and metrics, then click the
icon. The Chart section previews the performance trends for the selected metrics.Click OK.
View a monitoring dashboard
On the Custom Charts tab, select a dashboard name from the Operate Dashboard drop-down list.
Select a time range and click Search.
Delete a monitoring dashboard
On the Custom Charts tab, from the Operate Dashboard drop-down list, select the dashboard name, then select Delete Monitoring Dashboard.
In the Delete Monitoring Dashboard message, read the prompt and click OK.
