The default performance trend view displays basic performance metrics for your ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance. You can also create custom performance trend charts with specific metrics for more targeted monitoring and analysis of your instance's performance and operational trends. This topic explains how to create custom performance trend charts for an ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance on a monitoring dashboard.
Prerequisites
The instance must be a standalone, replica set, or sharded cluster instance that uses the MongoDB protocol.
Procedure

Go to the Replica Set Instances or Sharded Cluster Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select a resource group and a region, and then click the target instance ID.
- In the left-side navigation pane, choose Performance.

Click the Custom Charts tab.

On the Custom Charts page, you can manage monitoring dashboards.

Create a monitoring dashboard

From the Operate Dashboard drop-down list, select Add Monitoring Dashboard.

In the Add Monitoring Dashboard dialog box, enter a dashboard name and click Confirm.

Click Add Node and Metrics or Add Monitoring Chart.

In the Select Metrics of Monitoring Chart panel, select the nodes and metrics, and then click

Click Confirm.

Delete a monitoring dashboard

From the drop-down list to the left of Operate Dashboard, select the monitoring dashboard to delete. Then, from the Operate Dashboard drop-down list, select Delete Monitoring Dashboard.

In the Delete Monitoring Dashboard dialog box, read the prompt and click Confirm.

View a monitoring dashboard

From the drop-down list to the left of Operate Dashboard, select the monitoring dashboard you want to view.

Select a time range and click View.
