On November 19, 2020, Alibaba Cloud standardized the collection interval for ApsaraDB for MongoDB to 60 seconds.
Background
A collection interval defines the frequency at which the system automatically collects system resource information. Previously, ApsaraDB for MongoDB offered collection intervals of 1 second and 300 seconds. A 1-second interval collected data too frequently, while a 300-second interval was often too slow to meet user monitoring needs. To improve the user experience, Alibaba Cloud has standardized the collection interval to 60 seconds. This change helps you identify and resolve resource issues, such as anomalies, more quickly.
