Automatic backup and manual backup Note Charges for manual backups were gradually reinstated on September 14, 2022. You are not charged for backups if the total size of your backups, including full and log backups, does not exceed the free quota. Any storage that exceeds the free quota is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis according to its size and retention period. The free quotas are as follows: ESSD-based instance: 200% of the instance storage space. Local disk instance: 50% of the instance storage space. You can view the backup storage usage and free quota in the Specification Information section on the Basic Information page of the instance.
(Optional) audit log Note The audit log feature is disabled by default and free of charge. When you enable this feature, you are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis for the audit log's storage usage and retention period.
Backup data computation Note When you download backup files from a cloud disk instance, snapshot backups are converted to BSON files, which generates data computation costs. No free quota is available. You are billed based on the actual volume of data converted.
(Optional) public endpoint Note Using a public endpoint to connect to your ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance generates Internet traffic. You are not charged for the inbound or outbound Internet traffic that you consume to connect to your ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance.
