ApsaraDB for MongoDB charges per instance type based on the components your deployment includes. Standalone and replica set instances use a combined instance-plus-storage model, while sharded cluster instances bill each node type separately. Billing details by item
Manual backup fee
Manual backup has been charged in some regions since September 14, 2022. ApsaraDB for MongoDB provides a free backup storage quota — charges apply only when your total backup storage (full backup and log backup combined) exceeds the quota:
-
ESSD disks: Charged on a pay-as-you-go basis when storage usage exceeds 200% of the instance storage capacity.
-
Local disks: Charged on a pay-as-you-go basis when storage usage exceeds 50% of the instance storage capacity.
To check your current storage usage and free quota, go to the Basic Information page of the instance and find the Specification Information section.
Audit log fee
The audit log feature is disabled by default, so no audit log fee is charged. If you enable the feature, charges are based on storage usage and the retention period you configure.
Public endpoint fee
No charge applies for the public endpoint itself. Inbound and outbound Internet traffic consumed when connecting via the public endpoint is also free.
