This topic describes how to use iOS installation package hardening to quickly harden an application and obtain a secure package.
Prerequisites
You have an unhardened IPA file that is 300 MB or smaller.
You have purchased the Mobile Security Hardening service or have an active free trial.
Procedure
Follow these steps:
Log on to the mPaaS console and select the target application.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Security > Application Security Amor > iOS application security reinforcement to go to the iOS application security reinforcement page.
In the upper-right corner, click Installation package reinforcement to go to the Installation package reinforcement page.
Click Create security hardening to go to the Upload applications to be hardened page.
Click Upload Application and upload the IPA file.
After the upload is successful, the page automatically redirects to the Confirm security hardening information page. Confirm the application and hardening information.
Click Confirm Hardening.
You are returned to the iOS application security hardening page. A new card for the hardening task appears. Check the hardening progress on the card.
Reinforcing: The task is in progress.
Reinforced: The task is complete.
Failed: The task failed.
When the status on the card changes to Hardened, click Download to download the hardened package.
The hardened installation package is not signed. You must re-sign the downloaded package before you publish it to an app marketplace.
What to do next
