Last Updated:Aug 24, 2023

Data Management (DMS) is a web service that provides data access and management in the cloud. DMS supports different types of databases, including Memcache, Redis, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. DMS provides features such as data management, object management, data forwarding, and instance management. You can use either of the following methods to access an ApsaraDB for Memcache instance.

  • Log on to the ApsaraDB for Memcache console. Click Instances in the left-side navigation pane, and click the ID or name of the ApsaraDB for Memcache instance that you want to access. On the page that appears, click Instance Information in the left-side navigation pane, and click Log into Database in the upper-right corner. If you access an ApsaraDB for Memcache instance by using the ApsaraDB for Memcache console, the system automatically fills the database connection address that you set on the DMS logon page. You need to only enter the password.

  • Log on to the DMS console and enter the connection address and password of the database that you want to access.

Note

You can obtain the connection information from the Instance Information page in the ApsaraDB for Memcache console.
