MaxCompute Studio automatically checks for new versions and notifies you when an update is available. Use this page to check your installed version or trigger an update manually.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:

MaxCompute Studio installed as a plugin in IntelliJ IDEA
Check your current version

In the top navigation bar, choose File > Settings.

In the left-side navigation pane, click MaxCompute Studio.

In the Updates Checking section, view the current version and latest version of MaxCompute Studio.
Update MaxCompute Studio
By default, MaxCompute Studio automatically detects new versions and displays an update notification. Choose the appropriate update method based on whether automatic updates are enabled.
Respond to an update notification
When a new version is available, a notification appears with two options:
| Option | Action |
|---|---|
| Install | Downloads and installs the new version automatically. Restart IntelliJ IDEA after installation completes. |
| Settings | Opens the settings page where you can configure automatic version detection. |
Update manually
If automatic updates are disabled, check for and install the latest version manually:

In the top navigation bar, choose File > Settings.

In the left-side navigation pane, click MaxCompute Studio.

In the Updates Checking section, view the current version and latest version of MaxCompute Studio.

Click Check new versions to check the latest available version and install it.
