Last Updated:Jun 25, 2026

MaxCompute Migration Service (MMS) provides a Migration Observation tab that shows real-time migration progress and hourly and daily throughput per data source. Use this data to identify when migration load is highest and reschedule jobs to avoid peak business hours.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have access to the MaxCompute console.

View migration progress and speed

  1. Log on to the MaxCompute console and select a region in the top-left corner.MaxCompute console

  2. In the left navigation pane, choose Data Transfer > Migration Service.

  3. On the Migration Service page, click the Migration Observation tab. The tab shows two sections: Migration progress and Migration speed.

Migration progress

The Migration progress section shows real-time status for each data source:

Migration speed

The Migration speed section shows data throughput at two levels of granularity:

  • Daily total: The total volume of data migrated across all data sources on a given day.

Use this information to evaluate the daily migration speed and plan your migration schedule to avoid overlapping with peak business hours.
