When you enable zone-disaster recovery for a MaxCompute project, the project's storage fees follow the storage disaster recovery billing rules. Backup storage billing is not affected and continues under its existing billing method.
Billing rules for storage disaster recovery
MaxCompute bills storage per project, per hour, based on the compressed data replica size (one copy). For projects with storage tiers configured, charges are based on the amount of data accessed rather than the total stored size.
Your bill includes two separate line items:
| Line item | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Storage billing | Primary storage cost, calculated from the compressed replica size |
| Backup storage billing | Backup storage cost, unchanged after enabling zone-disaster recovery |
Pricing
| Storage type | Price |
|---|---|
| Storage disaster recovery - Standard | USD 0.001 per GB per day (public cloud) |
Note
The SAU (Riyadh - Partner Region) is operated by a partner. The unit price in this region is USD 0.0012 per GB per day.
