This topic describes how to renew subscription instances on the renewal management page.
When a subscription instance expires, it enters the Expired state. Projects that use the instance are disabled and can be reactivated only after the instance is renewed.
If an expired instance is not renewed within the specified grace period, or if the renewal fails, the corresponding project resources are released and cannot be recovered.
After a successful renewal, all suspended projects are reactivated.
Manual renewal
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console.
In the navigation pane on the left of the expenses and costs page, click Manage Renewal.
On the manual renewal tab, click Renew for the desired instance.
On the Renew page, select a renewal duration, select the Terms of Service checkbox, and then click Buy Now.
Automatic renewal
If you prefer not to renew your instances manually, you can set up automatic renewal.
Go to the renewal management page under expenses and costs.
On the manual renewal tab, click Enable automatic renewal for the desired instance.
In the Enable automatic renewal dialog box, set the auto renewal cycle and click Enable automatic renewal.
On the automatic renewal tab, view the instances that are configured for automatic renewal.
To modify or cancel the automatic renewal settings, click Modify automatic renewal, Set to non-renewal, or Switch to manual renewal in the Actions column for the instance.
