Live streams
ApsaraVideo Live provides stream management features that allow you to view and manage active, historical, and disabled streams, as well as configure dual-stream disaster recovery.
Active streams
-
Log on to the ApsaraVideo Live console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Streams.
-
To find an active stream, search By Streaming Domain or By Stream Name (Stream ID).
-
By Streaming Domain: Select a domain name, and then enter the AppName and StreamName.
-
By Stream Name (Stream ID): Enter a stream name and select whether to perform a fuzzy or an exact search.
-
-
Click Search to view the number of active streams in real time.
-
In the Actions column, use the available options to manage an active stream.
You can also click the more options icon and select live stream clipping.
-
Click Stream Monitoring. This opens the Stream-based Data tab on the Real-time Monitoring page, where you can view data such as the frame rate and bitrate for the live stream. On the Real-time Monitoring page, ensure the Stream-level Quality Monitoring tab is selected and enter an exact StreamName to perform a precise search. You can switch between the ingest data, playback data, Live Center stream quality data, live stream records, and callback records tabs and filter by a time range to view the corresponding bandwidth and traffic monitoring charts.
-
Click Disable to disable ingest for the active stream.
If you do not set a resumption time, the stream is re-enabled by default after six months.
-
Click View URLs to see the streaming URLs for different transcoding templates and formats.
-
Click the
icon and select Interrupt to interrupt the stream. To resume the stream, you must re-ingest it from the ingest client.
-
Historical streams
-
Log on to the ApsaraVideo Live console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Streams.
-
Click the Stream History tab.
-
Select a domain name and a time range. You can also specify an AppName and StreamName.
Search By Stream Name (Stream ID) or By Streaming Domain, and use Exact Search to narrow results. The results include the domain name, AppName, StreamName, ingest start and end times, transcoding template, reason for interruption, and available actions.
-
Click Search to view the historical stream data.
-
In the Actions column, use the available options to manage the historical stream.
Disabled streams
You can disable ingest for a live stream to block it when needed, such as when an authentication URL is compromised or malicious ingest attempts are detected.
-
Log on to the ApsaraVideo Live console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Streams.
-
Click the Disabled Streams tab.
-
Select a domain name and a time range. You can also specify an AppName and StreamName to find specific disabled stream data.

In the Enable Stream Ingest dialog box, click OK. The stream is re-enabled. You can then view this stream on the Stream History tab.
Dual-stream disaster recovery
Dual-stream disaster recovery ensures high availability for your broadcasts. If an ingest stream becomes unstable, the system can automatically switch to a standby stream, or you can switch manually.

Log on to the ApsaraVideo Live console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Streams.
-
Click the Dual-stream Disaster Recovery tab.
-
Select a domain name or enter a StreamName to search. Dual-stream disaster recovery must be enabled for your streaming domain. Search By Stream Name (Stream ID) or By Streaming Domain, and use the Exact Search option to filter tasks. The data table includes columns for Domain Name, AppName, StreamName, Ingest Records, Switchover Records, Task Start Time, Automatic Switchover, and Actions.
-
Click Search to view the stream data.
-
In the Automatic Switchover column, toggle the switch to enable or disable automatic switchover.
-
Click Ingesting to open the Ingest and Switchover Records panel.
-
In the Actions column, click Switch to Active Stream to switch streams manually.
