AI Coding Assistant Lingma:Setup and install

This topic describes how to set up, install, and log on to Lingma in different environments for Enterprise Dedicated Edition.

Compatible IDEs and operating systems

Lingma is compatible with the following IDE versions and operating systems:

  • JetBrains IDEs: IntelliJ IDEA and other IDEs version 2020.3 and later.

  • Visual Studio Code: version 1.68.0 and later.

  • Visual Studio: version 2022 17.3.0 and later.

  • Operating systems: Windows 7 and later, macOS, and Linux.

Install Lingma

Lingma supports various IDEs and remote development scenarios. The installation steps are as follows:

  1. Install from the IDE extension marketplace or download the installation package.

  2. Log on to Lingma and start using it.

Log on to Enterprise Dedicated Edition

Enterprise Dedicated Edition developers can use a dedicated account to log on to Lingma.

  1. Preparations:

    • Ensure you have an Enterprise Dedicated Edition user account and permissions.

    • Install Lingma (JetBrains IDEs, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio).

    • Get the login address for the Enterprise Dedicated Edition.

  2. Configure the login address:

    • Contact your enterprise administrator to get the login address.

    • Configure the dedicated domain address in Lingma and restart the IDE.

  3. Log on to Lingma:

    • Log on using the Lingma login page or a personal access token.

  4. Log out:

    • Log out through the Lingma interface in the IDE.
