AI Coding Assistant Lingma:Members and roles

Last Updated:Jul 03, 2026

Learn about the three organization roles in the QoderWork CN and Qoder CN CLI Teams edition: Subscription Owner, Admin, and Member.

Go to the official Qoder CN website, or log in password-free from the Alibaba Cloud Qoder CN console.

Organization roles

  • Subscription Owner: A non-billable role. Purchases the initial subscription, creates the organization in the Alibaba Cloud console, and manages subsequent seat purchases and subscription renewals. Does not occupy a Teams seat or have permissions to use product features or manage members.

    • Each organization has one Subscription Owner. To transfer this role, submit a ticket.

  • Admin: A billable role. Has full organization management permissions, can access the management console, and can manage billing. Uses all advanced Teams features and occupies a seat.

  • Member: A billable role. Can use all advanced Teams features and occupies a seat, but cannot access the management console.

Add members

Add members to your organization by:

  • Configuring single sign-on.

Join with SSO

Admins can configure domain verification and SAML SSO in organization settings > Security & Identity:

  • Configure domain verification

  • Configure SSO

After SSO is enabled, users with an email address from an approved domain automatically join your organization with the default role on login.

When configuring SSO, review enabled domains to ensure only intended users join automatically.

If the default role is billable, a seat is consumed and billed immediately when the user joins.

If the organization has insufficient seats, new members cannot join automatically via SSO. Contact your Admin to purchase more seats. Once seats are available, users can log in again to join.

Change member roles

Admins can change a member's role at any time. Go to organization settings > member management, select the user, click the ••• icon on the right, and select Edit role.

  • Assigning a billable role to a member immediately consumes a seat, which then remains occupied for the entire billing cycle.
