Access tokens are used to call API operations. This topic describes how to obtain an access token.

A token has the same permissions to access and manage resources as the user who created it. Use tokens with caution. Before you use a token, read Obtain a personal access token.
Procedure
Log on to the console. Click Dedicated. In the Actions column of the target instance, click Go to Instance.
In the upper-right corner of the page, click your profile and click Personal Settings. You can also go directly to the page at
https://{primary domain name of the organization instance}/users/settings/personalAccessToken.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Access Token. On the page that appears, set the token name, description, expiration time, and permissions. Then, click Create.

Token Name
A custom name for the token. The name can be up to 64 characters long.
Description
A description for the personal access token.
Expiration Date
WarningThe token expires at this time. After it expires, it cannot be used to call API operations.
