Lindorm:Big Call Request Detection

Last Updated:Apr 01, 2024

Large query requests are requests that need to scan large numbers of data blocks due to query conditions that are improperly specified. In Lindorm, if a Remote Procedure Call (RPC) request scans more than 100 data blocks, the request is considered a large query request. Large query requests consume large numbers of CPU and I/O resources and may degrade the throughput of the system. You can use the big call request detection module in the cluster management system to detect large query requests in an instance or on a node. This way, you can analyze and handle the requests in a timely manner.

Prerequisites

You are logged on to the cluster management system of your Lindorm instance. For more information, see Log on to the cluster management system.

Procedure

  1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Diagnose Tools > Big Call Request Detection.

  2. Select query conditions, including idc, Group, and Server.

  3. Click Query.

The following table describes the parameters that are included in the query results.

    Parameter

    Description

    Request detail

The detailed information about the large query request, including the time when the request is initiated and the content of the request.

    Sampling time

The time when the large query request is initiated.

    Note

If no result is returned, no large query requests exist on the current node.
