Key Management Service (KMS) is a regional service. The supported regions and zones vary by instance type — software key management instances are available in more regions than hardware key management instances.

Region-specific notes:
Philippines (Manila) has only one zone. The service-level agreement (SLA) is not guaranteed for KMS in this region.
For Thailand (Bangkok), instances purchased after July 23, 2025 support dual-zone deployment by default. Existing instances are deployed in a single zone. Submit a ticket to upgrade existing instances to dual-zone deployment.July 23, 2025
