    IPv6 Gateway:[Announcement] Adjustments of IPv6 Internet bandwidth throttling

    Dear Alibaba Cloud users, Alibaba Cloud throttles the IPv6 Internet bandwidth enabled after 00:00:00 (UTC+8) on June 15, 2024, according to new rules. Original bandwidth throttling rules are used for IPv6 Internet bandwidth enabled before 00:00:00 (UTC+8) on June 15, 2024.

    Adjustment description

    • The following inbound and outbound bandwidth throttling rules are used for IPv6 Internet bandwidth enabled after 00:00:00 (UTC+8) on June 15, 2024:

      • Inbound bandwidth

        • If the maximum IPv6 Internet bandwidth that you purchase is greater than or equal to 10 Mbit/s, Alibaba Cloud allocates bandwidth that equals the maximum bandwidth for inbound traffic.

        • If the maximum IPv6 Internet bandwidth that you purchase is less than 10 Mbit/s, the inbound bandwidth is 10 Mbit/s.

      • Outbound bandwidth

        For outbound traffic, Alibaba Cloud allocates bandwidth that equals the maximum IPv6 Internet bandwidth that you purchase.

      Note

      Starting from 00:00:00 on June 15, 2024, the rules will gradually take effect in different regions. The actual effective time for each region shall prevail.

    • If you purchased IPv6 Internet bandwidth before 00:00:00 on June 15, 2024, the original bandwidth throttling rules are used. For more information, see Limits.
