After setting up the data parsing task, initiate it to begin processing data in real-time. The task will then direct the output to the designated topic, or a data storage table, enabling further analysis and utilization. This topic provides guidance on initiating and monitoring a data parsing task.
Prerequisites
Ensure the data parsing task is properly configured.
Background information
Data parsing tasks can be configured, debugged, initiated, or deleted when in Pending Publish or Offline status.
Tasks in Starting, Stopping, or Online status can be viewed but not deleted.
Procedure
Navigate to the Data Parsing Workspace and single click Start located in the upper right corner of the page.
After single clicking Start, Start automatically updates to Starting. Once started successfully, Starting automatically updates to Stop. Please wait until the snapshots are created.
The system conducts a trial run to verify the task when initiating a data parsing task.
A successful verification results in the task starting as expected.
If verification fails, an error will occur. Follow the provided prompts to correct the configuration and attempt to restart.
(Optional) To halt data parsing, single click Stop in the upper right corner of the page, allowing for task reconfiguration.
For tasks that have been reconfigured, follow the aforementioned steps to republish.
Execution results
Return to the page to view the status of the data parsing task, which will update to Online upon successful initiation.
