Internet of Things DataService Studio offers data parsing capabilities to preprocess data from data sources, enabling enhanced analysis and value extraction. This topic outlines the steps to create a data parsing job.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have created either a backup device data source or an API data source. For more information, see Data access overview.

Procedure
In the IoT Platform console, click Overview. On the Overview tab, find the instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID or the instance name.
In the left-side navigation pane, select DataService Studio > DataAnalysis.
On the DataAnalysis page, single click Create Parsing.
In the New Parsing dialog box, enter the Task Name and Description.

Task Name
Accepts Chinese and English, numbers, special characters, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and English parentheses (). Must not exceed 30 characters in length.
Description
A brief overview of the pipeline, limited to 100 characters.
Single click Confirm to finalize the data parsing job.
Once created, single click View or Delete in the taskbar to perform the desired action.
What to do next
After the data parsing job is created, locate it under the data parsing list and click View to access the data parsing workspace and configure the job.
