Internet Shared Bandwidth enables region-level bandwidth sharing and reuse. After you create an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance, you can associate Elastic IP Addresses (EIPs) in the same region with the instance to centrally manage Internet data ingress and egress for cloud resources associated with the EIPs and use Gbit/s-level peak bandwidth.
Line types
Internet Shared Bandwidth instances support three line types: BGP (Multi-ISP), BGP (Multi-ISP) Pro, and Local ISP. The following table describes the differences.
Item | BGP (Multi-ISP) | BGP (Multi-ISP) Pro | Local ISP |
Supported EIP | BGP (Multi-ISP) EIPs | BGP (Multi-ISP) Pro EIPs | Local ISP EIPs |
Supported region | All regions | China (Hong Kong), Japan (Tokyo), Singapore, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Philippines (Manila), Indonesia (Jakarta), and Thailand (Bangkok) Internet Shared Bandwidth instances of the BGP (Multi-ISP) Pro line type in the Japan (Tokyo), Singapore, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Philippines (Manila), Indonesia (Jakarta), and Thailand (Bangkok) regions support only the pay-as-you-go billing method. | US (Virginia) Internet Shared Bandwidth instances of the Local ISP line type in the US (Virginia) region support only the pay-as-you-go billing method. |
Benefits
High-quality Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) lines with ultra-high bandwidth
Up to 89 high-quality BGP lines on a global scale provide ultra-high bandwidth at the same level as Taobao and Tmall.
Centralized Internet data transfer management
Associate EIPs in the same region with an Internet Shared Bandwidth instance. The EIPs then function as public IP addresses and share the instance bandwidth, enabling centralized data transfer management and monitoring.
