    Intelligent Computing LINGJUN:Manage Labels

    Labels let you categorize Lingjun Intelligent Computing resources for easier management and cost allocation.

    Limits

    • Only Lingjun clusters and compute nodes support label management.

    • Each resource can have up to 20 tags attached at a time.

    • You can create up to 10 tags at a time, and tag keys must be unique.

    • If you use a RAM user to view and manage tags, the Alibaba Cloud account must grant the RAM user the following permissions. For steps to authorize a RAM user, see Manage RAM user permissions.

    Create custom tags

    1. Log on to the Lingjun console.

    2. In the left navigation bar, choose Resources & Edge Zones > Tag Management.

    3. Click the Custom Tag tab, click Create a custom tag., and configure the tag key and tag value in the dialog box.

      Important

      When creating a custom tag, it must be attached to a resource. If you only need to create a tag and plan tag keys and values, see Create Tag .

    4. (Optional) You can filter existing custom tags by Resource Type or search for custom tags by keyword in tag keys.

    Attach Custom Tag

    Attach custom tags to the cluster

    You can attach tags to a cluster in two ways:

    1. Attach tags on the Cluster Management page.

      1. Log on to the Lingjun console.

      2. In the left-side navigation bar, choose Resources and Edge Zones > Cluster Management.

      3. Find the target cluster, hover over the label column's imageicon, and click Associate in the tooltip.

      4. In the Attach Tags dialog box, select the appropriate Tag Key and Tag Value.

    2. Attach tags when you create a cluster. When creating a cluster, system tags and custom tags of the cluster are attached to all nodes in the cluster by default. If a node already has a tag with the same key, the cluster's tag value will overwrite the node's tag value. For the steps to create a Lingjun cluster, see Create a Lingjun cluster.

    Attach custom tags to nodes

    1. In the left-side navigation bar, choose Resources and Nodes > Node Management.

    2. Find the target node, hover your mouse over the Labels column icon image, and click Associate in the tooltip.

    3. In the Attach Tags dialog box, select the appropriate Tag Key and Tag Value.

      Important

      When scaling out a cluster, the system automatically attaches the cluster's system labels and custom tags to the newly added nodes. If a tag key exists on both the cluster and the node, the cluster's value overwrites the node's value.

    Edit and delete custom tags

    Edit and delete custom tags for the cluster

    1. Log on to the Lingjun console .

    2. In the left-side navigation bar, choose Resources and Nodes > Cluster Management.

    3. Find the target cluster, hover your mouse over the Labels column and the image icon, and then click Edit in the tooltip that appears.

    4. In the Edit Tags dialog box, edit or delete the corresponding Tag Key and Tag Value.

      Important

      Before deleting a cluster, delete the tags attached to the cluster. For steps to delete a cluster, see Delete Cluster.

    Edit and delete custom tags for edge zones

    1. Log on to the Lingjun console.

    2. In the left-side navigation bar, choose Resources and Nodes > Node Management.

    3. Find the target edge zone and hover the mouse over the label column's image icon. In the hover box, click Edit.

    4. In the Edit Tag dialog box, edit or delete the corresponding Tag Key, Tag Value.

      Important

      • Scaling in a cluster will automatically delete the system tags of the nodes in the cluster. If a node's tag key and tag value completely match the cluster's tag key and tag value, the node's tag will be deleted.

      • After a node expires, the system tags and custom tags on the node will be detached.

    View system tags

    1. Log on to the Lingjun console.

    2. In the left navigation bar, choose Resources & Edge Zones > Tag Management.

    3. Click the System Tags tab to view system tags. The format of a system tag is: acs:lingjun:cluster={ClusterID}, where ClusterID represents the resource ID.
