Background info

• A Lingjun hub is a core forwarding network element within a region that forwards traffic between network instances in the same region. It connects multiple network instances, including Lingjun CIDR blocks and Lingjun connection instances. The connection between a network instance and a Lingjun hub is called a network instance connection.

• Each Lingjun hub instance contains a route table. You can create routing policies in the route table or use automatically created ones. A routing policy specifies the source network instance for advertising routes and the destination network instance for receiving routes. Only network instances with configured routing policies can communicate with each other.

• Through a Lingjun hub instance, multiple Lingjun CIDR blocks can interconnect and share the same Lingjun connection instance, as shown in Figure 1. A single Lingjun network can use multiple Lingjun connection instances simultaneously, as shown in Figure 2.

• High reliability and high quality

  A Lingjun hub instance achieves load balancing through multiple physical routes and devices. If any device or link fails, traffic switches over within seconds. Multiple high-quality transmission links exist between any two nodes on a Lingjun network, and the network automatically converges if a link is interrupted.

• Secure and flexible enterprise-level networking

  Lingjun Hub supports custom routing policies to meet enterprise-level networking requirements.

Procedure

1. Create a Lingjun hub.

2. Create a network instance connection. Connect network instances (Lingjun CIDR blocks and Lingjun connection instances) to a Lingjun Hub instance through network instance connections.

3. Create a routing policy. Connect different network instances through a routing policy.

   Note

   Both network instance connections and routing policies belong to their respective Lingjun Hub instances.

Create a Lingjun hub

1. Log on to the Intelligent Computing Lingjun console.

2. In the left-side navigation bar, choose Network Resources > Lingjun Hubs. Supports filtering Lingjun Hub instances by conditions such as Instance ID.

3. Click Create Lingjun Hub . On the Create Lingjun Hub page, configure parameters such as Zone and Name.

   Important

   The zone of a Lingjun Hub instance cannot be changed after creation. We recommend selecting the same zone as your Lingjun compute nodes and Lingjun connection instances to minimize network access latency.

4. Click Yes to complete the creation.

   Note

   A maximum of 4 Lingjun Hub instances can be created in a single region.

Create Network Instance Connection

Create a network instance connection in a Lingjun Hub.

1. Log on to the Intelligent Computing Lingjun console. In the left-side navigation bar, choose Network Resources > Lingjun Hubs.

2. Click the instance ID of the Lingjun Hub to go to the instance details page and view the basic information of the Lingjun Hub.

3. Click the Network Instance Connection tab to view the created network instance connections.

4. Click Create Network Instance Connection. In the Create Network Instance Connection panel, configure parameters such as Connection name and Network Instance Type.

   Important

   To create a network instance connection across accounts:

   1. The peer account must first grant authorization to the target Lingjun Hub instance under your account. For more information, see Cross-Account Authorization for Lingjun Hub.

   2. Set Account of Resources to Cross-Account.

5. Click Yes to complete the creation of the network instance connection.

   Important

   If you select the All routes from this Lingjun hub are automatically received. check box, after the network instance connection is created, the system automatically adds the corresponding routing policy to the current Lingjun Hub. This allows the network instance connection to automatically receive all routes from other network instances in the Lingjun Hub, including routes from network instance connections added later.

Create a routing policy

Lingjun hubs use routing policies to control route reception for network instance connections. Without a routing policy, network instance connections cannot receive any routes.

You can create routing policies in two ways:

• Automatic creation. When creating a network instance connection, select the All routes from this Lingjun hub are automatically received. check box.

• Manual creation. Perform the following steps:

  1. In the left-side navigation bar, choose Network Resources > Lingjun Hubs.

  2. Click the instance ID of the Lingjun HUB to go to the instance details page.

  3. Click the Routing Policy tab to view the created routing policies.

  4. Click Create Routing Policy. In the Create Routing Policy panel, configure parameters such as Policy ID, Source Instance for Advertising Route Source Instance for Publishing Route, and Destination Instance for Receiving Route Target Instance for Receiving Route___RICHTAG_47___.

     Note

     • If you click Allow, the source instance and target instance of the route can communicate with each other. If you click Deny, the source and target instances of the routing policy cannot communicate.

     • If two routing policies have the same source and target instances, the system preferentially matches the routing policy with the smaller policy ordinal number.

  5. Click Yes to complete the creation of the routing policy.

View routing policy

1. In the left-side navigation bar, choose Network Resources > Lingjun Hubs.

2. Click the instance ID of the target Lingjun Hub to go to the instance details page.

3. Click the Routing Policy tab to view the Instance ID, Policy ID, Status, and other info about the network instance. Filter routing info based on the source instance ID, target instance ID, and routing policy ID.

   Note

   A routing policy can be in the active, Unavailable, In Progress, or Deleting state.

Delete a routing policy

1. In the left-side navigation bar, choose Network Resources > Lingjun Hubs.

2. Click the ID of the target instance.

3. Click the Routing Policy tab. On this tab, find the routing policy that you want to delete and click Delete in the Actions column.

4. In the Delete dialog box, confirm the routing policy information, and click Yes.

Delete a network instance connection

1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network Resources > Lingjun Hubs.

2. Click the ID of the target instance.

3. Click the Network Instance Connection tab. On this tab, find the network instance connection that you want to delete and click Delete in the Actions column.

4. In the Delete Note dialog box, confirm the network instance connection information, and click OK.

Delete a Lingjun Hub instance

1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network Resources > Lingjun Hubs.

2. Find the target Lingjun Hub instance and click Delete in the Actions column.

3. In the Delete dialog box, confirm the Lingjun Hub instance information, and click OK.
