Lingjun AI Computing Service is billed as described below. For billing details of other separately billed products (such as CPFS storage and CEN), see the billing documentation for each product.
Purchase Steps
-
Requirements Collection
Contact your sales manager. Alibaba Cloud will collect your Lingjun resource requirements and confirm the resource inventory and cluster configuration.
-
Place Order
If resources are confirmed available, your sales manager will contact you. Billing starts immediately after the order is placed.
After purchase, you can obtain the console link on the purchase success page and go to the console to configure the cluster.
Overdue Payments
Ensure that your attached account has sufficient balance to continue using the service. If your account has overdue payments or the service expires, Lingjun compute nodes cannot be accessed through Lingjun connection instances, and the compute nodes cannot access resources in the associated VPC through Lingjun connection instances.
-
If you do not renew the service after it expires or your account has an overdue payment for the first time, Alibaba Cloud suspends all or part of your operation permissions upon expiration or occurrence of the overdue payment. Alibaba Cloud retains your service instances and data for 15 days from the time your permissions are suspended. Services that are not suspended continue to incur charges.
-
If you do not renew the service within 15 days, Alibaba Cloud releases your instances and deletes all instance data. The released instances and data cannot be recovered.
Renewal Policy
Renewal Notification
The service expires when the subscription duration you purchased ends. The system reminds you to renew the service 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before expiration. In subscription mode, you can choose auto-renewal, manual renewal, or non-renewal upon expiration.
Renewal Benefits
After Lingjun AI Computing Service expires, you cannot use the service, but your data is retained for 15 calendar days. If you renew within this period, Alibaba Cloud resumes the service. Otherwise, Alibaba Cloud stops the service after 15 calendar days, and all your data is deleted and cannot be recovered.
Upgrade/Downgrade Description
Compute nodes
-
Scale Out: To scale out, purchase additional items. New purchases follow the activation and cluster deployment flow.
-
Change Configuration: Unsubscription rules are executed per contract. Special cases require special approval; once approved, instance fees are settled on a pro-rata basis (refund or additional charge) at the time of unsubscription.
NoteYou can increase or decrease the number of Lingjun compute nodes in a Lingjun cluster based on your actual needs. However, you cannot downgrade the specifications of compute nodes. For more information, see Manage Lingjun clusters and Lingjun nodes.
Lingjun connection instances
-
Upgrade. After you upgrade a Lingjun connection instance, the upgrade takes effect immediately and billing based on the previous specification stops. For example, if you upgrade the bandwidth from 1 Gbit/s to 10 Gbit/s, you are charged based on 10 Gbit/s immediately after the upgrade.
-
Decrease the Quota. When you decrease the quota of a Lingjun connection instance, the change takes effect immediately, but billing based on the previous quota continues until the next calendar day. For example, if you decrease the bandwidth from 10 Gbit/s to 2 Gbit/s, a new bill for 2 Gbit/s is generated immediately. The original 10 Gbit/s bill ends on the next calendar day. The fees for both orders are then calculated together (usage of less than one day is rounded up to one day), and the remaining amount after deducting the payable fees is refunded to you.
ImportantFrequently decreasing the quota of Lingjun connection instances is not recommended, as this may result in financial losses.
Resource Usage and Bills
After you purchase a compute edge zone, a bill is generated on the 1st of each month. You are charged for the entire month based on the order cycle.
You can go to Expenses and Costs to view your monthly bills, usage, and payment dates for Alibaba Cloud services.

For example, if you purchased this product at 14:00 on August 15 for six months and do not renew the service, the resources will expire and be suspended at 00:00 on February 16, and will be released 15 calendar days later.
Q: What is the deduction order for Lingjun pay-as-you-go resource vouchers and balances?
When Alibaba Cloud deducts fees for a pay-as-you-go bill, the deduction order is as follows:
-
Valid vouchers in your Alibaba Cloud account.
ImportantUsers who have merged vouchers and coupons do not support post-billing deductions. Only users who have not merged vouchers and coupons support post-billing deductions.
-
Valid stored-value cards in your Alibaba Cloud account.
-
The cash balance in your Alibaba Cloud account. Funds transferred from other accounts are deducted before funds added by yourself.
In other words, if your account has a valid voucher that applies to the order, the fees are first deducted from the voucher. If your account does not have valid vouchers, the fees are deducted from the stored-value card in your account. If the stored-value card does not have stored value, the fees are deducted from the cash balance in your account.
