Intelligent Media Management (IMM) provides intelligent processing and analysis of unstructured data stored on the cloud, such as documents, images, and videos, and enables efficient retrieval of unstructured data by using metadata-based indexing. Application scenarios may include document management, image analysis, and storage of data sent from smart home devices.
Document management
IMM allows you to easily add the following document processing capabilities to your network drive, email, or document management application.
Document preview
Convert 48 common document formats into the JPEG, PNG, PDF, TXT, and VECTOR formats and implement document previews for personal computers and mobile devices by using a frontend rendering engine.
Full-text search
Extract text from DOC files by page and build a full-text index based on document pages to add the full-text search capability to your applications.
Image analysis
IMM allows you to easily integrate the following image analysis capabilities into image-heavy social networking platforms, e-commerce websites, and image gallery applications:
Image content moderation
Detect inappropriate and offensive content in images, such as pornography, violence, terrorism, and rule violations to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
Detect QR codes in images and the content of QR codes.
Image classification and retrieval
Label and classify images. This way, images can be easily retrieved from your image galleries, websites, network drives, and albums by using keywords.
Copyright projection
Add blind watermarks to your images to protect your copyright. Blind watermarks are invisible. You can use the blind watermark decoding feature of IMM to extract the blind watermarks.
Data storage for smart home devices
IMM can analyze images and videos that smart home devices, such as cameras, send to Object Storage Service (OSS) and detect faces and metadata. You can develop face albums and stranger detection capabilities based on the metadata.
Face metadata can be synchronized back to smart home devices, which allows you to access AI-driven face analysis capabilities even when your smart home devices are offline.

Detect strangers or check whether two people are the same by using the face comparison feature.
