Alibaba Cloud IDaaS EIAM supports QR code logon. You can scan a QR code to log on to your account securely and conveniently.
Prerequisites
The IDaaS administrator has bound DingTalk, and DingTalk QR code logon is enabled. For instructions, see Connect to DingTalk and Connect to DingTalk.
Select DingTalk QR code logon
On the user logon page, select the DingTalk QR code logon option under Other logon methods. The DingTalk QR code page appears. Use DingTalk to scan the QR code.
If you do not see the DingTalk QR code logon option, ask the administrator to go to the logon menu and check whether DingTalk QR code logon is enabled.
Two scenarios after you scan the QR code
When you use DingTalk QR code logon, one of the following two scenarios applies.
Successful QR code logon
If IDaaS has binding information for your DingTalk identity, a logon confirmation page appears. Confirm to complete the logon.
IDaaS cannot identify the user
If your account was not imported from DingTalk, you must manually bind your DingTalk and IDaaS account identities before you can log on by scanning the QR code.
After you scan the QR code and confirm, on the page that appears, select Attach existing IDaaS account, which starts the IDaaS account identity verification process.
You must complete identity verification by using any method other than DingTalk QR code scanning. After verification succeeds, your DingTalk account is bound to your IDaaS account, and you are logged on.
You do not need to bind the accounts again for subsequent logons.
