Identity as a Service:Network scope

Last Updated:Mar 31, 2026

You can use network scopes to dynamically adjust IP addresses for features that require specific IP addresses—such as conditional access—without the need to modify other configurations.

Add a network scope

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • An Employee Identity and Access Management (EIAM) instance in the Identity as a Service (IDaaS) console

  • The IPv4 or IPv6 CIDR blocks you want to include

Steps

  1. Log on to the IDaaS console. On the Employee Identity and Access Management (EIAM) page, click the required instance.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Branding.

  3. On the Branding page, click the CIDR Block tab, and then click Add CIDR Block.

  4. Enter the CIDR blocks for the network scope.

    • Only the classic network type is supported.

    • Specify at least one IPv4 or IPv6 address. Both IPv4 and IPv6 CIDR blocks are supported.

Delete a network scope

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Before deleting a network scope, the system checks whether it is in use. If the network scope is in use, you cannot delete it.

Warning

Deleted network scopes cannot be restored. Record the CIDR block list before deleting, in case you need it later.

To delete a network scope:

  1. On the CIDR Block tab of the Branding page, locate the network scope you want to delete.

  2. Click Delete in the Actions column.

  3. Confirm the deletion.
