Dear Hologres users,
To improve the stability of Hologres instances, Alibaba Cloud performs O&M operations on Hologres instances of versions between V2.1.16 and V2.1.23 by region from June 11 to July 3, 2024 (UTC+8). During the O&M, automatic metadata redistribution at the background is disabled. You can obtain detailed O&M information from internal messages. The following table describes the O&M time for different regions.

During the O&M, short-lived errors may occur on your Hologres instance. You can try again.
If you use a virtual warehouse instance and want to scale out your instance after the O&M, you must manually execute the following statement to trigger shard rebalancing. For more information, see the "Scale out a virtual warehouse" section in Manage virtual warehouses.
