This topic describes how to change the specifications of an ApsaraDB for HBase cluster.
Billing for a pay-as-you-go ApsaraDB for HBase cluster
You are charged for a pay-as-you-go ApsaraDB for HBase cluster by hour. After you change the specifications of the ApsaraDB for HBase cluster, you are charged for the ApsaraDB for HBase cluster at a price based on the new specifications.
Billing for a subscription ApsaraDB for HBase cluster
Specification change type | Billing |
Specification upgrade | Total fee for a specification upgrade = (Daily fee of the cluster after the upgrade - Daily fee of the cluster before the upgrade) × Number of days between the date when the subscription expires and the upgrade date |
Specification downgrade | For more information about refund rules for a specification downgrade, see Rules for unsubscribing from resources. |
Add nodes
No nodes can be added if the IP addresses that can be allocated to the vSwitches in the cluster are insufficient.
Log on to the ApsaraDB for HBase console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region where your ApsaraDB for HBase cluster is deployed.
On the Clusters page, find the cluster and click the ID of the cluster.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Basic Information. In the upper right corner, click Add Node.
Select the number of nodes that you want to add for Core Nodes.
