Managed Service for Grafana:Cloud service integration

View cloud service integrations

1. Log on to the Managed Service for Grafana console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Workspace Management.

2. On the Workspace Management page, click the ID of the workspace that you want to manage.

3. The Cloud Service Integration section on the Workspace Information page displays the Alibaba Cloud services that support one-click integration.
   Managed Service for Grafana currently supports one-click synchronization for the following Alibaba Cloud services. Data sources for other Alibaba Cloud services must be added manually. For more information, see .

   • ARMS Application Monitoring
   • Prometheus Monitoring
   • ARMS Alerts
   • CloudMonitor
   • Simple Log Service (SLS)

Sync ARMS application monitoring

1. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select ARMS Application Monitoring from the list on the left.
   Note If ARMS Application Monitoring is not displayed on the page, contact the Grafana service group (Group number: 34785590) to upgrade your instance.
2. In the pane on the right, select the data source that you want to sync and click Sync. In the dialog box that appears, click Confirm.
   When the status of the data source changes to Synced, the data source and its dashboards are synced.
3. Click the folder icon to the right of the data source.
   On the Dashboards page in Grafana, you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.
4. Optional: In the navigation pane on the left of Grafana, choose > Data sources.
   On the Data sources tab, you can view all synced data sources.

Sync Alibaba Cloud Prometheus monitoring

1. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select Prometheus Service from the list on the left.
2. In the pane on the right, select the data source that you want to sync and click Sync. In the dialog box that appears, click Confirm.
   When the status of the data source changes to Synced, the data source and its dashboards are synced.
3. Click the folder icon to the right of the data source.
   On the Dashboards page in Grafana, you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.

   Note The pre-built dashboards vary based on the type of Prometheus instance.

Sync CloudMonitor

1. Integrate Alibaba Cloud services with Prometheus Monitoring. For more information, see Prometheus instance for Alibaba Cloud services.
2. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select CloudMonitor from the list on the left.
3. In the pane on the right, select the data source that you want to sync and click Sync. In the dialog box that appears, click Confirm.
   Note Click Configure Cloud Service Monitoring to integrate more Alibaba Cloud services with Prometheus Monitoring.
   When the status of the data source changes to Synced, the data source and its dashboards are synced.
4. Click the folder icon to the right of the data source.
   On the Dashboards page in Grafana, you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.

Sync ARMS alert management

1. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select ARMS Alerts from the list on the left.
2. In the pane on the right, select the data source that you want to sync and click Sync. In the dialog box that appears, click Confirm.
   When the status of the data source changes to Synced, the data source and its dashboards are synced.
3. Click the folder icon to the right of the data source.
   On the Dashboards page in Grafana, you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.

Sync Simple Log Service

Managed Service for Grafana uses the permissions of an Alibaba Cloud account to query data. These permissions are granted by the AliyunARMSFullAccess system policy. Therefore, you cannot use a RAM user to add a Simple Log Service (SLS) data source with one-click integration.

1. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select Simple Log Service from the list on the left.
2. In the pane on the right, click Create SLS Data Source. In the panel that appears, enter the SLS region, project, and Logstore, and then click OK.
   Note If the current Alibaba Cloud account does not have the AliyunARMSFullAccess system policy, follow the on-screen instructions to grant the required permissions.
   When the status of the data source changes to Synced, the data source and its dashboards are synced.
3. Click the folder icon to the right of the data source.
   On the Dashboards page in Grafana, you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.

   Note Currently, only Logstores for Kubernetes events generate folders and dashboards. If no folder is displayed on the Dashboards page, it indicates that the Logstore does not have a built-in default dashboard.
4. Click Explorer to the right of the data source to view the SLS data in Grafana.
