After you create a subscription workspace, you can switch the billing method of the workspace to pay-as-you-go based on your business requirements. This topic describes how to switch the billing method of a workspace from subscription to pay-as-you-go.
Prerequisites
The fully managed Flink workspace whose billing method you want to switch meets the following requirements:
The workspace is in the Running state.
No unpaid order that is created to switch the billing method exists in the workspace.
If such an unpaid order exists in the workspace, you must cancel the unpaid order and place another order to switch the billing method.
Precautions
After you switch the billing method of a workspace to pay-as-you-go, the system does not release the workspace. Make sure that your account has sufficient balance. If your account does not have sufficient balance, the workspace may be affected due to overdue payments.
After you switch the billing method of a workspace to pay-as-you-go, the system refunds the remaining amount of the subscription and stored-value cards to the original payment account. The amount of coupons and vouchers cannot be refunded.
Procedure
Log on to the Realtime Compute for Apache Flink console.
On the Fully Managed Flink tab, find the workspace that you want to manage, and choose in the Actions column.
In the Convert To Metered Billing dialog box, read the Alibaba Cloud International Website Realtime Compute Service Conversion Notes and view the refund information.
Read Alibaba Cloud International Website Realtime Compute Service Level Agreement and select I have read and agree to Alibaba Cloud International Website Realtime Compute Service Level Agreement.
Click OK and complete the payment.
After the payment is complete, the billing method of the workspace is switched from subscription to pay-as-you-go. You can view the workspace on the Fully Managed Flink tab. The Billing Method of the workspace is changed to Pay-as-you-go. For more information about the pay-as-you-go billing method, see Pay-as-you-go.
