    Feature Enhancements

    • Real ID and ID Recognition algorithm enhancements:

      • In March, new document type support is expected, covering Australian driver's licenses, Israeli driver's licenses, and more. For details, see Supported document types and OCR result fields

      • The OCR algorithm now supports the new format of Brazilian identity cards.

      • Optimized OCR for generic passport MRZ fields and fixed several issues.

      • Improved OCR recognition for Hong Kong business licenses and fixed issues with the BR field.

      • Reduced processing time for the passport visual inspection zone.

      • Added classification algorithm support for two formats of the Philippine digital ID.

      • Added validation for the cropDocImage field in the Real ID initialization interface /api/v1/zoloz/realid/initialize.

      • Improved name splitting logic for Philippine driver's licenses.

      • Strengthened anti-counterfeiting capabilities of the Philippine digital ID.

      • Added field verification logic for MyKad documents to strengthen anti-counterfeiting.

      • Added classification algorithm support for Nigerian ID cards.

      • Improved the quality anti-counterfeiting algorithm to better detect card holders and high-fidelity counterfeit documents.

      • Added tampering detection algorithm support for the new version of the Philippine TIN.

    • Updated the facial recognition algorithm model in Real ID, Face Capture, Face Compare, Connect, and DemoAPP.

    • Added a new IT role in Portal to support client-specific business scenarios.

    Upgrade Announcement

    • Upgrade Time: April 16, 2025, 1:00 AM - 3:00 AM (Beijing Time)

    • Upgrade Content: ZOLOZ will upgrade infrastructure components at the Hong Kong node to improve service stability and security.

    • Impact of Upgrade: During the upgrade, services may be intermittently unavailable for up to 5 seconds. Symptoms include 503 errors or timeouts on API calls.

    • Recommended Actions: Avoid scheduling promotional activities or high-traffic events during the upgrade window. If you encounter errors, wait 1 minute before retrying.

    • Affected Scope: All customers using the Hong Kong node
