Express Connect:Outbound data transfer plans

Last Updated:Apr 01, 2026

Outbound data transfer plans let you prepay for Express Connect outbound data transfer at a lower rate than pay-as-you-go pricing. Each plan offsets outbound data transfer fees in a specific region for one year, giving you predictable costs for high-volume transfer workloads.

Outbound data transfer plans are not available by default. Contact your account manager to apply for access before purchasing.

How plans work

A plan takes effect immediately after payment and automatically offsets outbound data transfer fees in the region you select. Plans are valid for one year. When a plan expires, any remaining quota is cleared.

Offset order and plan stacking:

  • You can purchase any number of plans. If you have multiple active plans, the one expiring soonest is applied first.

  • Plans are available in three sizes: 1 TB, 10 TB, and 100 TB.

Promotional offer (plan sizes under 50 TB only):

During promotional periods, if you purchase a plan smaller than 50 TB and your actual usage exceeds the plan size by more than 50 TB, you receive a free quota of 50 TB. Usage beyond that free quota is billed at the actual prices of outbound data transfer. This offer does not apply if you purchase a plan of 50 TB or larger.

The 50 TB free quota is a time-limited promotional benefit. Check the purchase page for current promotional terms before buying.
