Navigate to the Renewal page

All renewal operations start from the Renewal page. Use either of the following paths:

From the Physical Connection page

  1. Log on to the Express Connect console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  3. On the Physical Connection page, find the circuit and click Auto Renew in the Actions column.

From Billing Management

  1. Log on to the Express Connect console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, choose Expenses > Renewal Management.

  3. In the Instances section, select the applicable instance type:

    • For dedicated and shared circuits: Express Connect - Charge for rental (Prepaid)

    • For virtual border routers (VBRs): Express Connect - VBR Instance fee

Renew a dedicated Express Connect circuit

  1. Navigate to the Renewal page using one of the paths above.

  2. Click the Manual, Auto, or Nonrenewal tab based on what you want to do.

  3. Perform the renewal operation:

    Manual renewal

To renew multiple circuits at once, select them and click Batch Renew, then follow the prompts.
    1. Find the circuit and click Renew in the Actions column.

    2. On the Renew page, specify a duration and select Terms of Service.

    3. Click Buy Now and complete the payment.

    Auto-renewal

    Important

Auto-renewal takes effect the next day after you enable it. If a circuit expires the next day, only manual renewal is available. Alibaba Cloud deducts fees from your account balance 9 days before the subscription expires—make sure your balance is sufficient.

    1. Find the circuit and click Enable Auto Renewal in the Actions column.

    2. In the Enable Auto Renewal dialog box, specify the renewal period and click Auto Renew.

After enabling auto-renewal, the circuit appears on the Auto tab.

    Nonrenewal

    1. Find the circuit and click Nonrenewal in the Actions column.

    2. In the Set as Nonrenewal dialog box, click OK.

After you disable auto-renewal, Alibaba Cloud sends a notification before the circuit expires. The circuit is suspended after it expires, but you can change the renewal setting before suspension occurs. The circuit record appears on the Nonrenewal tab.

  3. Perform the same operations as in step 3 of Renew a dedicated Express Connect circuit.
