On the Alarm page, you can set filter conditions to view alert notifications sent based on notification policies and manage alerts.

Prerequisites

Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) is activated after 00:00:00 on April 30, 2021. Otherwise, the alert management module of EDAS is unavailable.

Go to the Alarm page

  1. Log on to the EDAS console.
  2. On the Applications page, select EDAS Kubernetes Cluster or Container Service or Serverless Kubernetes Cluster from the Cluster Type drop-down list. Then, click the name of the application whose alert notification records you want to view.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alert Management > Alert sending History.

Alarm page

The Alarm page displays the level, name, handler, occurrence time, and status of each alert.

On the Alarm page, you can perform the following operations:

  • Set filter conditions and click Search to view corresponding alert notification records.
    Note Turn on More. Then, you can set more filter conditions.
    Parameter Description
    Alert Name The name of the alert rule based on which the alert is triggered.
    Alert Status The status of alerts. Valid values:
    • Unclaimed
    • Processing
    • Resolved
    Alert level The severity of alerts.

    Valid values:

    • Default
    • P1
    • P2
    • P3
    • P4
    • P5
    Handled The user who handles alerts.
    More
    Notification policy The notification policy that corresponds to alerts.
    Created The time period during which alerts are generated.
  • Click the name of an alert to view alert details. For more information, see Alert details page.
  • For an unresolved alert, you can claim and handle the alert, specify an alert handler, or modify the alert level. For more information, see Process alerts.

Alert details page

The Alert details page displays the basic information about an alert, alert-related events, and activity records. The basic information includes the alert level, notification information, and alert status.

On the Alert details page, you can perform the following operations:

For an unresolved alert, you can claim and handle the alert, specify an alert handler, or modify the alert level. For more information, see Process alerts.

The Details, Event, and Activity tabs display the following information:

  • The Details tab displays the time when the alert is generated, the object for which the alert is generated, the alert handler, and the contacts to which the alert notification is sent.
  • The Event tab displays alert-related events, the time when the events are created, and the status of the events. You can click the name of an event to view the details of the event. For more information, see Event details panel.
  • The Activity tab displays alert notification records.

Event details panel

The Event details panel displays the basic information, monitoring data, and extended fields of an event.

In the Monitoring data section of the Event Details panel, you can perform the following operations:
  • In the upper-right corner of the Monitoring data section, set the time range to 6 hours, 12 hours, or 1 day. Then, the line chart displays monitoring data in the specified time range before and after the point in time when the alert was generated.
  • Use the mouse to select a time range to view monitoring data in the specified time range. Click Reset to restore the line chart.

Process alerts

For an unresolved alert, you can claim and handle the alert, specify an alert handler, or modify the alert level.

  1. Associate a mobile number with an alert.
    1. Go to the DingTalk group where an alert notification is sent. In the alert card, click View details.
    2. If you view the alert information in the DingTalk group for the first time, the Bind mobile phone number dialog box appears. Enter a mobile number and click Send the Verify Code.
    3. Enter the received verification code and click OK.
  2. Log on to the EDAS console.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alert Management > Alert sending History.
  4. On the Alarm page, select a handler from the Handled drop-down list.
    Note
    • The name of the handler is the name of the DingTalk group.
    • Multiple employees may use the same Alibaba Cloud account. Therefore, you must specify a handler for each alert.
  5. Click the alert that you want to process to go to the Alert Details page.
    • Click Claim to specify the current account as the alert handler.
    • Click Resolve to end the processing of the alert.
    • Click the More icon and select Specify Alert Handler to specify a contact in the DingTalk group as the alert handler.
    • Click the More icon and select Modify Alert Level to modify the alert level.
